Serving the city of Guelph
what we offer
ahimsa, Guelph Pet Sitter
Ahimsa comes from the Sanskrit word meaning "to do no harm or injury" and we embrace this approach in our relationships with humans and animals. The freedom from negativity that can come with striving for ahimsa we believe can be developed and shared through the bonds we form with our Animal Companions. At Ahimsa Pet Sitting we are committed to honouring these bonds. Our service is focused on the emotional and psychological needs of your Companion Animals and on ensuring you that their senses of routine, comfort and home are disrupted as little as possible by your absence. We will work with you to understand how to achieve this by meeting you and your animals in your home where a personal plan of care will be created together. While you are away, an open line of communication will be kept with you about your animals' daily lives including emailed photos at no extra charge. Animals teach us humility and grace, and how to simply be, and we look forward to meeting your animal friends.
"Ahimsa means not to injure any creature by thought, word or deed. True ahimsa should mean a complete freedom from ill-will and anger and hate and an overflowing love for all. Ahimsa is the attribute of the soul and therefore to be practiced by everybody in all the affairs of life."
- Mahatma Ghandi
